The PBBM administration should not pussyfoot in dealing with the CPP-NPA-NDF (CNN). We have been treating this communist terrorist group with kid gloves for a long time.
PRRD through his EO70 and the NTFELCAC had proven the correct handling and direction in ending the local communist armed conflict. As a result the CNN is now on the verge of extinction. Their open mass movement can no longer command public attention and mass support even on its core advocacies as their front organizations are now being unmasked and rapidly losing credibility. In order to survive and appear relevant they will just grab on any life saving device that will keep them afloat. Their armed component is decimated to a few remaining straggler armed units just biding time to surrender or scampering to safety evading martyrdom from a storm of fire and steel.
We are not starting from scratch, let us not waste time on useless pursuits. Decisively and aggresively pursue the goals of EO70 to the finish. We must build peace not on their terms but ours. Let us give no quarter for these terrorists.
