DO NOT OUTSHINE THE PRESIDENT – In your desire to please and impress, do not go too far in displaying your perceived talent and intelligence or you might accomplish the opposite. Do not misrepresent or put words in the President’s mouth. Only speak and do what are within the bounds and limits of your job description and not beyond it, especially those that are in the province of national policy and Presidential prerogatives.
