Whatever you may say about it, but the message of this old Martial Law – Bagong Lipunan slogan still rings true: SA IKAUUNLAD NG BAYAN, DISIPLINA ANG KAILANGAN. Yeah, you can pun BISIKLETA, and it still holds water.
We need to revive and apply this slogan most especially at this time when punks and delinquents passing themselves off as activists, suck-up idiots, inutile snowflakes, Kupaloids and everyone in between, want to impose their twisted sense of entitlement to society.
Discipline is important to maintain order in any organization, and key for the success of any organized endeavor. Even the Maoist cult CPP, in order for it to muster the blind obedience of its followers, it imposes a strict policy for discipline. Everyone must adhere to the ‘bakal na disiplina ng Partido’ or face a DA. Ask any Maoist cultist what DA means.
