Our Fire tree (or flame trees, Delonix regia) is still relatively young. My late brother Ferdie planted it on our lawn six years ago. Happy to see that it is now starting to blossom, displaying their fire red flowers amidst a blanket of green.
I like Fire trees, they’re imposing yet they give a sense of calm that relaxes and brightens the day. I’m looking at our Fire tree right now. There its branches with the colors of Red and Green happily dancing with the gentle winds of summer that silently whisper the joy of a coming victory.
